A good agency will have a diverse portfolio with working, fast, and beautiful websites. If their portfolio is full of slow, outdated sites — run.

2. Technologies and Expertise

Ask what technologies they work with. An agency that only works with WordPress and ready-made themes is not the same as one that can build custom solutions with React/Next.js, create mobile apps, or integrate complex APIs.

7. Pricing Transparency

A good agency gives you a detailed quote with a clear description of what is included and what is not. Ask: What happens if I want a change? Are there additional costs for hosting, domain, SSL? Who owns the code and design?
