1. Process discovery. One day with the dispatcher, one trip in the cab. TMS designed at a desk fails in week one — so we start from the actual steps of the people who will use the software for transport companies.

2. PostgreSQL + PostGIS core. Relational database with spatial queries for GPS points, geofencing on loading docks and route analytics. Built for millions of position rows and multi-tenant across multiple country branches.

Yes. The base package is sized exactly for small and mid-size hauliers with 5 to 30 units. You start with fleet, driver documentation and dispatch, then add GPS and fuel-card integration after the first two months. Does it support tachograph data import?

Yes. The system imports DDD files from Continental VDO, Stoneridge and Actia, both from driver cards and from vehicle units. Checks are automatic — daily rest, weekly driving time, 4.5-hour break rule. On any Regulation 561/2006 violation an alert fires before the road authority finds it. A 12-month rolling archive is mandatory and the system retains it.

Can it track fuel consumption per kilometre?

Yes. Cost-per-km is computed from three sources: fuel-card transactions from DKV, OMV, Shell and Eurowag, GPS-driven kilometres and tachograph RPM and driver-style data. The system compares the same truck under different drivers and flags anyone driving 12% above the fleet average. Reports by driver, truck and route — weekly or monthly.
