Warehouse software and WMS built for real Bulgarian warehouses
Warehouse software from Saitami is a WMS designed around how your warehouse actually runs — receiving a delivery, putaway by location, barcode picking, packing and dispatch to a courier. Instead of renting a per-user SaaS subscription, you get your own software with a mobile app for scanners, location-based storage, lots and expiry dates, and integration with your ERP, accounting and the couriers. Prices are fixed in EUR, and the source code and database stay with you.
When your warehouse has outgrown Excel and paper stock notes
While a warehouse holds 200 items and one person, Excel works. At 2,000 SKUs, several operators per shift and dozens of dispatches a day, every manually keyed quantity is an error the customer discovers when unpacking. Warehouse software with barcode picking removes that — the operator scans, the system verifies, and you see stock in real time.
- ✓Mismatch between the system and real stock — stocktake finds shortages and surpluses because moves are written on paper and keyed in at night, if at all.
- ✓Wrong dispatches — the picker grabs the wrong item or quantity because there is no scan check, only a paper list.
- ✓Slow to find goods — a new hire walks the warehouse for 20 minutes because locations live in the old storekeeper's head, not a system.
- ✓Expired lots — dated goods are sold past expiry or written off as loss because there is no FEFO picking order.
- ✓Double entry — the same delivery is keyed into the warehouse, accounting and the online shop, each time risking a mismatch.
What the warehouse WMS includes
Scan a delivery against an invoice or waybill, get an automatic location suggestion by rules (zone, weight, turnover) and print internal barcode labels. See also ERP development for the full supply chain.
A mobile app for Android scanners or phones — pickers get a task, walk an optimized route, scan each item, and the system blocks a wrong SKU or quantity.
A control scan at packing, automatic waybill generation to Speedy or Econt via API, label printing and courier handover in one click.
Lot and expiry tracking, FEFO and FIFO picking logic, near-expiry alerts and a sales block after expiry — mandatory for food, cosmetics and pharma.
Cycle counting by zone from the scanner without stopping the warehouse, automatic reconciliation against system stock and a variance report.
Two-way connection with ERP, accounting software, online shop and marketplace. Detail in API integration.
How we deliver warehouse software
We do not start with a diagram but with a walk through your warehouse. We document the real steps of receiving, putaway and dispatch, then build the software around them — not the other way round.
1. Discovery in the warehouse
We come on-site, work one real shift with the operators, document the zones, rack types, supplier barcodes and load peaks. Output: a warehouse map and a prioritized roadmap.
2. Location numbering and labelling
We help you number zones, aisles, racks and levels, print location barcode labels and load the item master from your current system — no manual rekeying of thousands of items.
3. First working module in 4-6 weeks
We ship receiving and picking first — the most painful processes — and operators use them for real while we iterate on weekly sprints with on-site demos.
4. Operator training and integrations
We train the warehouse team on the scanner itself with real stock, connect the WMS to ERP, accounting and couriers, and let the online shop pull stock in real time.
5. Support and evolution
After go-live we stay on monthly support with a fixed SLA and evolve the system for new zones, new couriers and seasonal peaks.
Pricing and timeline
A full WMS with location storage, lots, stocktake, mobile app and integrations is €14,000-€30,000 per project. Payment 50/50, no per-user subscription — hiring a new storekeeper does not raise the price. With 58 projects since 2013 for 50+ Bulgarian companies, our team knows what a real warehouse looks like.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between warehouse software and a WMS?
Warehouse software often just means stock reporting — how much of what you have. A WMS also manages the physical process: exactly where goods are, who picks them, by what route, with a check at every scan. We build a WMS because errors happen in the physical process, not in the stock table.
Do I need to buy special scanners?
Not necessarily. The mobile app runs on standard Android industrial scanners but also on ordinary Android phones using the camera as a barcode reader. A phone is enough for a small warehouse; for intensive picking we recommend an industrial gun scanner. We advise what to buy by volume.
Does it integrate with Speedy and Econt?
Yes. We connect the WMS to the official Speedy and Econt APIs — waybill, cash-on-delivery, label printing and tracking are generated directly from the system at dispatch. We also support DPD and other couriers on request.
Can we connect the WMS to the ERP and the online shop?
Yes, that is the main reason to pick a custom WMS. Stock syncs in real time with the ERP, accounting software and the online shop or marketplace, so you never sell goods you no longer have. See API integration.
How long does implementation take?
A first working module for receiving and picking is ready in 4-6 weeks. A full WMS with all zones, lots and integrations takes 3-5 months depending on volume. We start with the most painful process so you see value immediately.
Ready for a warehouse without errors and paper?
Book a discovery meeting — we come to your warehouse, work a shift with the operators, and within a week you get a process map and a fixed EUR quote for the first module.
