FIX: app for home services and tradespeople
A modern platform connecting customers with professional tradespeople: a mobile app, web portal and AI-powered search.
The platform is live: a dispatch console with a live map of Burgas and the phone built into it, plus the Eko Taksi app for Android and iPhone: a map of Burgas, address auto-filled from the user's location, fare calculated according to the company's rates, airport transfers from Burgas Airport at a fixed price based on the flight number, and a notification when the car is 300 m away. The platform belongs entirely to the company: a passenger app, a driver app, a dispatch console connected to the phone system, and card payments.
Saitami.bg built the mobile app for Eko Taxi (Taxi services) in 2026. Live at taxi.mmm.software.

Eko Taxi takes orders by phone on 056 51551 and works with its current dispatch system and phone system. The company wanted its own branded app in the App Store and Google Play, working alongside dispatchers and phone orders, as well as flight-number-based transfers from Burgas Airport at a fixed price.
A platform fully owned by the company, with no commission per ride and no vehicle licence: a dispatch console with a live map and the phone system built in, a passenger app, a driver app and card payments. The console and phone system have been online since 17 October 2026; cars and drivers are added using the company’s data. The same platform, without the client’s branding and with eight cars driving around Sofia autonomously, is open to everyone at taxi.mmm.software/demo. The phone system is transferred last so operations are not disrupted.
Screenshots from the Eko Taksi demo company: eight cars moving around Burgas on their own. The same platform, under a neutral brand and with Sofia on the map, opens without a login at taxi.mmm.software/demo: try everything.
Six screens from the passenger app.

Six screens from the driver app: login, shift, order, route to the customer, trip and day.

The platform’s four parts. The passenger, driver and dispatcher see the same booking.
Live map with vehicles by status, a queue of orders from the app, and manual order entry for phone calls, including trips without a destination. City zones and an “Airport” zone with vehicle queues, automatic dispatching with manual intervention, a flight-transfer dashboard, and reports by driver, zone and time.
The phone is built into the console: callers hear the greeting and are connected directly to the headset of an available dispatcher; a single “Online / Pause” button, missed calls queued for callbacks, and call recordings stored and reviewed in the console. An incoming call opens the customer's profile and recent addresses, and the order takes one click. The company's number is transferred last so operations are not interrupted.
On the available tablets and phones: on and off shift, incoming orders with a countdown, navigation, “Arrived”, “Pick up” and “Complete” statuses, the airport queue, today’s trips and takings.
Through Stripe, in the app. The driver is verified in the app using an ID card and IBAN and receives payment for their trips in their own account, usually within 72 hours. Trip ratings and history.
The launch and the time after it.
The app is built with React Native and Expo. The map uses MapLibre with an OpenFreeMap style and Bulgarian place names; addresses come from the phone’s geocoder, while routes and distances come from OSRM. Updates are delivered over the air through EAS Update: the phone checks for them on launch and every time the user returns to the app, while reloading waits until the current booking is complete. The 300 m notification is scheduled on Android and is delivered even when the app is running in the background.
Eko Taxi has been a taxi company in Burgas since 2001. Bookings come in through the dispatch number 056 51551, and the company also operates from Burgas Airport: city rides by the meter and transfers to the resorts at a fixed price.
The platform carries the “Eko Taxi” brand and belongs entirely to the company: it owns the code, data and brand, with no commission per ride and no vehicle licence. It has four parts: a passenger app, a driver app, a dispatch console connected to the telephone system, and in-app card payments.
The passenger app. The map of Burgas uses the brand colours and centres on the user’s GPS location; the pickup address is filled in automatically and can be corrected manually or by moving the map. The fare appears as soon as there is a destination, according to Eko Taxi’s tariff: daytime €1.53 starting fare and €0.77 per kilometre, nighttime €1.74 and €0.87, with no booking fee. The tariff is selected based on the time in Burgas, regardless of the phone’s time zone.
Transfers from Burgas Airport use a fixed price from the company’s price list, based on the number of passengers: 4+1 car, 6+1 car or 8+1 minibus. The passenger enters the flight number, the number of passengers up to 30, and whether a child seat is needed. The green 51551 button calls the dispatcher directly from the screen.
When the car comes within 300 m, the phone receives a notification, and the app shows the car on the actual streets leading to the address. If the address is on a pedestrian street, the car stops on the nearest street accessible by car, and the app shows which street it is and how many metres the passenger needs to walk. The passenger’s number remains hidden from the driver: the call is routed through the platform.
The app is built with React Native and Expo for Android and iPhone under the Eko Taxi name. Updates reach users’ phones over the air, without a new file being uploaded to the store.
The dispatch console shows a live map of all vehicles by status, a queue of bookings from the app, and a manual booking option for phone calls, including rides without a specified destination. An incoming call from the telephone system opens the customer’s profile and recent addresses, while call recordings are stored in the console. A booking entered by a dispatcher goes to the first car in the zone’s queue, while an app booking goes to the nearest available car; the driver can decline it, and the booking moves to the next car. The driver app runs on the company’s tablets and includes shift management, a queue, incoming bookings with a countdown, navigation, statuses and today’s rides. Card payments are processed through Stripe, and the driver receives the money from their rides in their own account.
Addresses and history from the previous system are migrated, dispatchers and drivers are trained, and the telephone system is transferred last to avoid disrupting operations.
