Labimex - Laboratory supplies
B2B e-commerce platform for laboratory consumables and equipment, with a product catalogue and quotation system.
New website and online store for the official representative of CITIZEN SYSTEMS JAPAN in Bulgaria: custom WooCommerce theme, 860 products organised in a category tree, filters by brand and type, colour selection, model-specific accessories, price enquiries and integration with the company’s ERP system.

The official representative of CITIZEN in Bulgaria did not have a store that showcased its full catalogue. Hundreds of models had to be organised so that a company could find exactly the calculator, printer or device it was looking for and request a price without having to call and ask whether it was available.
A custom WooCommerce theme with a category tree based on the client’s spreadsheet, filters by brand and type, a price enquiry for every product, colour selection and model-specific accessories. The store is connected to the ERP system we are building for the same company.

A category tree up to four levels deep, filters by brand and type, and sorting that remembers the selection.

The catalogue does not have public prices yet, and WooCommerce hides variations in this situation, leaving colour selection empty. So we built the selection from the variations themselves: the customer clicks “Blue”, “Pink” or “Red”, and the image and product number change instantly. That is what they need before sending an enquiry.

Most enquiries come by phone, so the mobile version has its own menu and filters.

Filtered pages do not open for requests without a real visitor, keeping the AI and SEO bots that bring filter-heavy stores down away from the catalogue.
WordPress scheduled tasks run from the server with locking and a time limit, rather than from visits, after visits had already brought the store down.
The theme is stored in git and deployed with a script that refuses to overwrite a change made only on the server.
Orders from the store flow into the company’s ERP system, while products are published from it to the store.
The contact page includes the address in Gabrovo, phone number, email, opening hours and a map. It is also where wholesale businesses request a quote when they cannot find the model in the catalogue.

Pelikan DTM is an office equipment distributor from Gabrovo and the official representative of CITIZEN SYSTEMS JAPAN in Bulgaria. Its catalogue includes CITIZEN, ELEVEN, SHARP, HP and REBELL calculators, blood pressure monitors, thermometers and oximeters from RAYCOME and LITTLE DOCTOR, thermal printers and banknote detectors.
The pelikan-dtm.com website was built from scratch on WordPress and WooCommerce, using our own custom theme, with no ready-made template or visual editor. The theme is version-controlled and deployed with a script that refuses to overwrite changes made directly on the server.
The catalogue of 860 products is organised in a tree up to four levels deep, exactly according to the client’s spreadsheet: “For the Office”, “For Our Health” and “Gift Ideas”, with desktop, pocket, scientific, printing and speciality calculators inside. The store has filters by brand and type, sorting by brand and type, a mega menu on desktop and a three-level menu on mobile.
Wholesale prices are negotiated, so the catalogue works on an enquiry basis: every product has a “Price Enquiry” button and a phone number, and the enquiry goes to the right person. Models available in several colours change their image and product number when a colour is selected, while adapters and consumables appear under the models they fit. The search recognises product numbers as customers type them.
Checkout requires a phone number and makes the email address optional, while the invoice fields are clearly visible because buyers are mostly businesses. The store is connected to Pelikan DTM’s ERP system: orders go into it, while products come from it.
The website is protected from bots that bring stores with filters down: requests without a real visitor behind them to filtered pages are rejected, while AI and SEO bots cannot reach the catalogue. WordPress scheduled tasks run on a schedule rather than on visits, after visits once brought down the server. The footer of every page displays the project banner for the “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises” Programme 2021-2027.
