Software for Restaurants and Bars

Custom software for restaurants and bars built for the real rhythm of a Bulgarian venue: the waiter fires orders from an Android tablet, the kitchen sees them on KDS, stock depletes gram by gram from the recipe, the fiscal printer issues a legal receipt to НАП, the guest scans a QR menu. One workflow.

What the restaurant POS includes

Waiter POS (Android / iPad)

Rugged Android or iPad with PIN login, modifier presets, course routing between tables and bill splitting by guest or item.

Kitchen Display System (KDS)

Orders land on KDS screens by station (grill, salads, bar, dessert). The chef bumps tickets on completion, the waiter sees the status — no shouting, no lost paper.

Stock with per-dish food cost

Every dish has a recipe card with ingredient weights. Sales deplete stock in real time and live food cost percentage shows per dish.

Recipes and technical cards

Recipes stored centrally with allergens and weights. A recipe change instantly updates dish cost and warns when an ingredient drops below minimum stock.

Fiscal printers and НАП compliance

Certified REST integration with Datecs and Eltrade via the official Ordinance H-18 protocol. Z reports run automatically and daily turnover flows to accounting.

QR menu, loyalty, multi-venue

Guests scan a QR on the table and order without flagging a waiter. Loyalty awards points; multi-venue keeps separate stock per location with a shared guest database.

Who it fits

Single restaurant or bar

A 30 to 120 seat venue, one fiscal printer, a 2-3 station kitchen. Waiter POS, KDS, stock with recipe costing and a QR menu for €2,800 to €5,400 — no per-user or per-tablet fees.

Chain with 3+ locations

Shared back office, separate stock per location, central guest database and unified loyalty. Managers compare food cost between venues; the owner sees live turnover on a phone.

Hotels with food & beverage

Restaurant, lobby bar, room service and spa cafe under one POS, with charge-to-room handover to the hotel PMS. Integrates with Mews, Clock PMS and custom back ends.

How we build it

We do not resell someone else's POS. We build your own restaurant management software on a proven stack: Node.js with PostgreSQL, native Android for waiter POS and KDS (offline-tolerant, syncs on reconnect), Next.js for the back office and QR menu. REST API to Datecs and Eltrade fiscal printers runs over the official Ordinance H-18 protocol.

We start with one working day in the venue — how the waiter fires an order, how the chef works in peak hour, how the manager closes the shift. From that map we lock the MVP scope: POS, KDS, stock with recipes, fiscal integration and QR menu. See our mobile app development and API integrations.

Go-live happens on a low-traffic shift — a weekday lunch — so edges surface before the weekend rush. After go-live we stay on an SLA with 2-hour reaction, because a POS that fails on Friday night costs more than any software.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it integrated with НАП and Bulgarian fiscal printers?

Yes. Certified REST integration with Datecs and Eltrade fiscal devices via the official Ordinance H-18 protocol. Each sale from the waiter POS goes through the fiscal printer and receives a fiscal number before the table closes. Daily Z reports run automatically and data reaches НАП via the device's prescribed path.

Can a guest order from a QR code on the table?

Yes, the QR table menu is a standard module. Stick a unique QR on each table; the guest scans with a phone camera, opens the menu on your domain and places an order — cash to the waiter, card at the table or fully online. The order lands directly on the kitchen KDS and on the assigned waiter's tablet.

Is it suitable for a bar without a full menu?

Yes, a bar is the easier scenario — shorter menu, more speed, fewer kitchen stations. The POS works on a touch terminal at the bar, technical cards describe cocktails gram by gram (40 ml gin, 15 ml lemon juice), stock depletes spirits in real time and shows true cocktail cost.

How much does restaurant and bar software cost?

Software for restaurants and bars starts at €2,800 for an MVP in one venue with waiter POS, KDS, stock with recipes, fiscal integration and QR menu. A chain with 3-6 locations and full loyalty typically lands at €8,000-€18,000. Pricing is fixed against the agreed scope, paid in milestones, never per-tablet or per-user.
