  • Rounding is mathematical (0,005 up), as required by law: 10 BGN is 5,11 €, while 5,11 € is 9,99 BGN. A one-stotinka difference when converting back is normal.
  • Mandatory dual price display was in effect from 08.08.2025 to 08.08.2026. After that date, displaying both prices is optional, but many shops keep doing it while customers get used to the euro.
