Challenge

Crypto.bg needed a modern, secure cryptocurrency trading platform that would be accessible to beginner users in Bulgaria.

Solution

We built a full-featured crypto exchange with two-factor authentication, KYC/AML verification, cold storage for assets and an intuitive interface. The platform supports payments in Bulgarian lev through EasyPay, FastPay and bank transfer.

Security first

Every aspect of the platform was designed with a focus on protecting user assets.

Two-factor authentication

Every account is protected with 2FA via Google Authenticator or SMS. Additional security for every login and transaction.

Cold storage

Crypto assets are stored in offline cold wallets with multi-signature access.

An automated process for identity and source-of-funds verification.

About the project

Crypto.bg is a Bulgarian platform for buying and selling cryptocurrency, with payments in leva.

We developed a web platform that allows users to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC directly with leva through EasyPay, FastPay and bank transfer. The focus was on simplicity — unlike international exchanges, Crypto.bg offers a streamlined process suitable for beginners.

Security was the number-one priority. We implemented two-factor authentication (2FA), cold storage for most funds and an automated system for monitoring suspicious transactions. All users undergo KYC verification in line with Bulgarian legislation.

We integrated a live cryptocurrency price ticker with a 7-day chart, a P2P forum for direct exchange between users and a detailed FAQ section in Bulgarian. The platform uses real-time WebSocket technology to update prices without reloading the page.

We also developed the mobile version of the website, optimised for fast purchases from a phone.
