Saitami's fitness app carries your name in the App Store and Google Play: workout videos, programmes, chat and card subscriptions, with no fee per client. Trainerize starts at 9 dollars per month for 2 clients and goes up to 248 dollars for a studio, while a branded app is an additional fee.
A custom app makes sense when you sell a video library and courses under your own brand, have hundreds of subscribers, want the payments and clients to be yours, or your content is in Bulgarian and aimed at a specific audience, such as the therapeutic exercise offered by Heal Fit.

Heal Fit: therapeutic exercise app in the App Store
Heal Fit is an app for therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise, published in the App Store and created together with instructor Marusya Ivanova. Everything is in Bulgarian: a workout video library, an introductory course for beginners, series that guide users step by step, a preview before unlocking, a group class schedule and booking for live classes.
What to decide before building the app
These questions affect the price and timeline more than the design:
- Payment in the app or on the website: the App Store and Google Play take a share of in-app subscriptions, while website payments have their own rules for apps.
- How many videos and how many hours of content, and who will shoot and edit them.
- iPhone only, or Android from day one.
- Live classes in the app, or booking a spot at the gym.
- Who uploads new workouts: you from an admin panel, or us.
Timeline and price
An app with a video library, courses, subscriptions and class bookings costs 200-15 000 €, based on our quotes; publication in the App Store and Google Play is part of the project. Support costs 100-350 € per month and is optional. You or your videographer shoot the videos.
What we have not done so far
We have not integrated watches or fitness bands for heart rate and steps, nor built programmes that adjust themselves based on the client's results. If you need this, we check what the device or service provides before quoting a price.
