What the law requires
Trading in precious metals has its own rules, which the system must preserve:
- Items made of precious metals are placed on the market with their fineness certified by the Bulgarian Institute of Metrology.
- Traders in precious metals and stones apply the measures under the Measures Against Money Laundering Act to cash payments above the threshold set by law: customer identification and document retention.
- A receipt under Ordinance N-18 is issued for in-store sales; for online card payments, information about the online store is submitted to the NRA.
What we have built so far
UnitGold is an online store for investment gold with live prices, a secure checkout, and delivery of bars and coins. Akbari Perfume is a proprietary store with five locations in Sofia and Plovdiv, where the owner manages the products and inventory herself.
