Accounting software

The company's accounting is handled in accounting software (Plus Minus, Ajur, Microinvest Delta Pro, Biznes Navigator), which is updated whenever the law changes. Saitami does not replace it, but works with it: documents, invoices and bank data reach the accountant organised and ready, without retyping.

If you are an accounting firm, you also have a second problem that accounting software does not solve: documents from 50 or 150 clients arrive by email, Viber and in bags, while NRA deadlines are tracked in a spreadsheet. That is why we built Account-X, the firm’s system around its accounting software.

These are the programs used by most accountants in Bulgaria. The price is published only for Microinvest; for the others, it is provided by the manufacturer or reseller.

Whichever program you choose, check these things with the manufacturer:

• The euro: from 1 January 2026, accounting is kept in euros, while old balances in leva are converted at a rate of 1.95583.
• Purchase and sales ledgers and the VAT return by the 14th of the following month, in the NRA format.
• SAF-T: the standard audit file that the NRA is introducing in stages, starting with large enterprises.
• Electronic invoices: the draft amendments to the VAT Act provide for mandatory structured electronic invoices between companies from 2028; the software must be able to receive and issue them.
• Bank connection: import statements so payments do not have to be entered manually.
• Client access, or at least export, when the accounting firm manages many companies.

Account-X brings the accounting firm and all its clients together on one screen. The manager can see clients, contracts and fees, which accountant manages which company, and what is coming up. Each client has a portal where they upload their documents for the month, see what is missing and download their reports.

Documents are read with AI: the system recognises the invoice and suggests an accounting entry with a confidence percentage, instead of making the accountant retype it. Bank statements are matched to invoices, while VAT, social security and year-end closing deadlines are tracked and reminders are sent for each client. The demo is open and shows all of this with sample data.

A firm with 10 or 20 clients can manage with email and a spreadsheet and should not pay 3 000-29 300 €. The numbers work for a firm with several accountants and more than 50 clients: if each client takes an hour a month to chase and re-enter documents, that is more than 50 hours a month the system gives back. The system is paid for once, the code and data belong to the firm, and support costs 100-350 € per month, as needed.

Account-X is a demo with sample data; we do not yet have an accounting firm running a system built by us. We do not submit returns to the NRA: the system tracks deadlines and sends reminders. We have not connected the system directly to Plus Minus, Ajur or Microinvest; data is transferred by importing a file, and if your program offers another connection, we will check it before quoting a price.
