Food ordering software
Food ordering software combines the menu, cart, payment and delivery with company orders: office lunches, catering and shop orders. Delivery platforms bring in new customers for a commission on every order; your own website is commission-free and serves your existing customers: 840-6 300 € (based on 98 of our quotes as of 14 August 2026). We show company orders in the Testen Dom demo.
What it includes

Products with photos, prices in euro and the allergens for each dish.
- Payment
By card through Stripe or cash on delivery.
- Zones and hours

In brief: delivery platform or your own website
Saitami's ordering website is yours: the menu, delivery, card payments and customers stay with you, with no commission on every order. A delivery platform charges a commission and keeps the customer with itself; it should bring you new customers, while regulars should order from your website.
Your own website makes sense for customers who already know you and for companies: office lunches, catering and shop orders. There, the commission is money lost, while the order needs to reach the kitchen or production facility and appear on an invoice.
The commission calculation
Platform commissions are negotiated and not published, so use your contract for the calculation. For example: with 300 orders per month at 20 € and a 20% commission, the platform gets 1 200 € per month, or 43 200 € over three years. If half of these orders come from customers who already know you and you move them to your own website, it pays for itself within months.
What the law requires
These points are checked before launch:
- Allergens under Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011: information about the 14 allergens is mandatory for unpackaged food as well and must be visible before the order is placed.
- A fiscal receipt under Ordinance N-18 for cash or card payments to the establishment's delivery provider; for online card payments, the online store information must be submitted to the NRA.
- The trader's details under the Electronic Commerce Act and consumer rights when placing a distance order.
- Customers' addresses and phone numbers are personal data under the GDPR.
What we have built so far
At Testen Dom, a food manufacturer, customers' B2B orders arrive by email in Excel and are entered into the system automatically, production is managed by batch and recipe, inventory by expiry date, and invoices and reports are generated from the orders. We also build and maintain online stores with card payments, for example for Akbari Perfume, with live Econt and Speedy integration in the order.
Timeline and price
A website with an online menu, card payments and delivery zones costs 840-6 300 €, according to our quotes; with a business portal, email orders and a connection to the kitchen or production, it is a 3 000-29 300 € system. Support costs 100-350 € per month and is optional.
What we have not done so far
We have not connected a proprietary website with orders from Glovo or another delivery platform in a single screen, and we have not built a dedicated app for a restaurant's couriers. If you need this, we check what the platform supports before giving you a price.
