In brief: for private kindergartens, nurseries and after-school centres
Municipal kindergartens keep the mandatory records in an electronic register under Ordinance No. 8 of 2016. We do not build electronic registers. We build the system a private kindergarten, nursery or after-school centre needs every day: children, groups, attendance, menus, fees and parents.
It makes sense when fees and absences are calculated in Excel, messages are sent in Viber groups, and parents call to ask about the menu and payments.
Menus and allergens
Under Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011, information about the 14 allergens is mandatory for unpackaged food as well. The system displays the weekly menu with the allergens in each dish and alerts the teacher when a child with an allergy is in the group.
Children's data
Children's data and photos are personal data under GDPR: photos in the portal are shown only with a parent's consent, each parent sees only their own child and the shared photos they have authorised, teachers' access is group-based, and hosting is in the EU.
What we have built so far
For KingsTim, we built a national platform for career quiz competitions for children from kindergarten through 12th grade, with 3 524 schools and kindergartens, tests with video and a timer, and certificates with a QR code. We showcase children, groups, schedules, a parent portal and fees in the demo for an education centre.
