WhatsApp & Viber Automation
WhatsApp Viber automation by Saitami combines bulk broadcasts, two-way bots and a shared operator queue in one platform. We build directly on WhatsApp Business API and Viber Business Messages, with native opt-in, approved templates and full delivered, read and replied analytics — no monthly SaaS lock-in.
What our WhatsApp Viber automation includes
Bulk broadcasts
Approved template messages to segmented lists via WhatsApp Business API and Viber Business Messages. Throttling that respects Meta and Rakuten Viber rules, multi-number rotation for large campaigns, retry on transient failures.
Chatbot with conversational flows
Visual flow builder — conditional branches, intent detection, dynamic variables from your database, product carousels and quick-reply buttons. A single bot serves both channels with one logic layer.
Keyword autoreply
Triggers on keywords, after-hours greetings, automatic pricing and FAQ delivery. Escalation rules when the customer types "agent", "complaint" or other flag words route the chat to a human operator instantly.
Operator queue and tagging
Shared team inbox, skill-based routing, SLA timers, private notes, contact tagging by interest, preferred channel and source. Full conversation history is preserved against each customer record.
Opt-in and GDPR compliance
Double opt-in, consent audit trail, one-click opt-out in every message, separate lists for marketing, transactional and service notifications. Ready for regulator reviews and data-protection audits.
Analytics and attribution
Campaign and contact-level metrics — delivered, read, replied, click-through, conversion. UTM parameters in links, event push to Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, ROAS reports per channel.
Who it is for
Online stores
Order confirmations, delivery notifications, abandoned cart nudges at 1 and 24 hours, review requests after delivery. Conversational commerce inside the chat — the customer picks a size and pays via a link without leaving WhatsApp or Viber.
Service businesses with bookings
Dental clinics, beauty salons, car services, gyms — appointment confirmation, 24-hour reminders, one-tap rescheduling. Cuts no-show rates in half and frees reception staff from routine calls.
B2B sales teams
Personalized offers, PDF catalogues and spec sheets sent inside the chat, follow-up stages tracked in the CRM. The bot qualifies inbound leads, collects BANT data and hands warm prospects to a salesperson with full history.
How we build it
1. Channel registration
Meta Business Manager verification, WhatsApp Business API display-name registration (Cloud API direct or via a certified BSP partner depending on volume), Viber Business account setup. We submit template messages for approval in week one while engineering proceeds in parallel.
2. Node.js and PostgreSQL backbone
Node.js with TypeScript, BullMQ queues, PostgreSQL conversation store. Webhooks ingest events from both WhatsApp and Viber and normalize them into one schema, so business logic is channel-agnostic — one flow serves both messengers.
3. CRM, ERP and store integration
We wire the bot into your CRM, order management ERP and WooCommerce, Shopify or OpenCart for delivery statuses. See our API integrations for two-way sync of contacts, tags and purchase history.
4. Launch and optimization
Before go-live we simulate the full customer journey, measure webhook latency and probe how the bot handles odd questions. Post-launch we run monthly flow reviews, template A/B tests and conversion tuning. See also business process automation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is bulk messaging on WhatsApp legal in the EU?
Yes, under two conditions. First — you must use WhatsApp Business API, not the consumer app, which Meta blocks for bulk traffic. Second — explicit opt-in from each recipient with timestamp and source. This satisfies GDPR and Bulgarian regulator rules for electronic direct marketing. Our platform keeps an audit trail of every consent and revocation event.
What is the difference between WhatsApp Business App and Business API?
The Business App is a free mobile app for small shops — one device, manual sends, no automation, no analytics. WhatsApp Business API is an infrastructure product for higher volume, with approved templates, webhook integrations, operator queues and CRM hooks. It uses conversation-based pricing from Meta. For anything over 200 contacts per day the API is effectively mandatory.
Can one bot serve both Viber and WhatsApp?
Yes — and that is our default. The backend normalizes webhooks from both channels into a single schema, so flows are written once. Differences remain only where the channels differ technically — Viber supports rich cards and stickers, while WhatsApp has stricter template rules. Contacts live in a shared database with a preferred-channel field.
How much does WhatsApp and Viber automation cost?
A starter project with both channels live, one bot flow, opt-in collection and a base integration with CRM or an online store starts at €2,400 one-off. More complex rollouts with campaign builders, A/B testing, multi-team queues and conversational commerce typically land between €5,000 and €12,000. You also pay Meta and Viber separately for messages sent at their rate cards.
